Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make The Eye Gallery a leading provider of vision care products and services in Kihei.

Dr. Alicia Van

Biography:

Dr. Alicia Van graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She also has Bachelor of Science degrees in nutrition and biology.

She is a member of the Hawaii Optometric Association and The American Optometric Association.

Dr. Van regularly does charity work and participates in international humanitarian aid. She has been on numerous trips to developing countries to provide free eye care to underprivileged individuals.

Dr. Van is also dedicated to helping the Hawaiian community. In August 2007, she gave eye examinations on Molokai through the Give the Gift of Sight Charity Organization. She regularly works with the Kihei Sunrise Rotary Club to conduct vision screenings of children.

She is licensed in Hawaii and Texas to therapeutically diagnose and treat ocular diseases such as glaucoma, infection, dry eye syndrome, and ocular allergies. She also does co-management for cataract and refractive surgeries.

Dr. Van moved to Maui in 2006. She met and married her husband on this beautiful island. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures.
